Peterson & Carlson have both had lots of anti-Ukraine, pro-Russia messaging.

Earlier this week, the Prime Minister of Canada testified under oath that Jordan Peterson and Tucker Carlson have been funded by Russia.

Peterson is a Canadian Youtuber and Self-help guru who - having succumbed to an addiction to benzodiazepines, once underwent an induced coma in Russia. Certainly a sad irony, in that Peterson’s specialty and PhD in psychology is addiction.

Peterson has never encountered a subject he won’t proclaim himself an expert on, and he’s been outspoken in a number of ways - on Russia, Ukraine and on vaccines.

As for Tucker Carlson, he is a kind of “Lord Haw-Haw” for the Internet Age. Having been fired from Fox News for knowingly lying on-air about the 2020 election results, while off-air he admitted he knew Trump lost, Carlson flew to Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin and provide him with a platform to explain Russia’s side in the invasion of Ukraine.

While the Leader of the Opposition accused the Prime Minister of lying, as commentator Chantal Hébert pointed out, the Prime Minister was

1. Testifying under oath, and

2. Since the Commissioner has access to the same intelligence, she would have called out perjury. She did not.
