Musk bought the site to preserve some vestige of free speech in America, not to make money. He failed to stop Jewish censoriship but, otherwise, Twitter is by far the world's #1 news site–and for good reason.

Freedom of expression in Canada and freedom of speech in the U.S. are subject to personal and legal responsibility. So called "free speech abolutists" want to be exempt from being held to account or held responsible for their actions and statements, which is a basic requirement of living in a society like Canada, where the fundamental principles are "peace, order and good government".

If Musk really cared about free speech, he’d have bought up all the academic publishers / journals & made them free access. A screaming baby may offer a useful signal of distress but a room full of screaming babies is just noise.
